Roadwater Performance Club was set up in February 2009 to give aspiring local artists a friendly and supportive environment to perform in, where they can meet up with like-minded people, inspire and be inspired.
Club events are held at the Roadwater Village Hall on the third Friday of the month. The club has a good PA system, with mics, a condenser mic and foldback, and there is also a well stocked bar!
The club is open to anyone wanting to perform – poets, singers, players, dancers – all levels and genres are welcome.
Club nights have become very popular attracting new and experienced performers. First time performers are especially welcome. There is also usually a guest act part-way through the evening or an extended spot (opportunity for regular performers to showcase their talent).
Entrance is free – a voluntary donation is invited.
Performers can book a spot or take a chance and arrive early on the night.
The success of the Roadwater Performance Club depends on the many people who contribute their time to making it work- performers, audience and helpers, without whom there would be no club so THANK YOU!
